Dear Dr. Nelson:
Insofar as the advocacies of our So.CA-based coalition is concerned, we are willing to wait until our candidate becomes President-elect to sign a "Covenant with the Overseas Filipinos," among the topics of which is the "reinvention" of our homeland's criminal-justice system. To have the Covenant before the candidate is declared President-elect may amount to pandering. And we will see also how big our clout is with our candidate if he signs the Covenant as a President-elect. We will simply cross the bridge when we get there.
Mabuhay,
Lolo Bobby M. Reyes

To all Campaign Political Leaders,
If your political candidate for President, Senator and Congressperson are sincere in his/her in reforming Philippine Governance and not just a political campaign rhetoric have your candidate endorse the JS initiative and make it his/her campaign platform. Then announce it to the public. Only by endorsing the JS will he/she become believable in reforming the Philippine Government.
It is very important that candidates state publicly their position in regard to the JS initiative so voters will have an objective gauge who to vote. Their endorsement of the JS will also be useful when the JURY SYSTEM PEOPLES INITIATIVE petition is finally begun.
So lets all have our individual candidates publicly support and make the JS their campaign platform.
Thanks.
Nelson
