Dear Mr. Macabenta: Hallelujah! Finally, you have spoken and once again you are caught lying by your own words. You should have resorted to the Fifth Amendment. 1.0 RE: $300,000 Grant from Wells Fargo Bank in 2002. I reproduced simply the IRS Form 990 that the NaFFAA submitted for the calendar year that ended on Dec. 31, 2002 (2-0-0-2). You forgot all about it and I can understand because aging folks do experience senior moments. BTW the same report was first published in 2003 in the of New York. QUOTE: Here are my initial findings about the NaFFAA's financial report for the year ended Dec. 31, 2002, as reported to the IRS by submitting Form 990: NaFFAA's IRS Form 990 declared a gross income of $445,783. UNQUOTE. You can read the entire report in this article, The “Embezzlement” Issues in the Menorgate/NaFFAAgate Scandals of San Jose URL: 1.1 Now, if cannot explain how your company got for the NaFFAA the grant from the Wells Fargo Bank in 2002 and explain further why you charged commissions, finder's fees and other charges for facilitating the donations, I wish to suggest respectfully that you please tender your resignation. The supreme leader of the NaFFAA cannot be effective if he is under a cloud of suspicion. 2.0 NOW Is the Time to Discuss What Went Wrong with the NaFFAA's Treasury. 2.1 Perhaps the good men and women of the NaFFAA must NOW address FINALLY how and why the NaFFAA Treasury tolerated financial scams like the Menorgate and why it is still refusing to release the Profit-and-Loss Statements for all the NaFFAA national conventions and its Global Networking conferences. 2.2 The NaFFAA regional leaders must finally deal with the issue of why then NaFFAA Treasurer Klaus Buntua resigned in 2001. Everybody knows the reason why Mr. Buntua resigned. While he was the elected treasurer, it was actually Assistant Treasurer Luly Esclamado who kept possession of the NaFFAA check books and then Chairman Alex Esclamado was issuing checks based on his sole signature. Mr. Buntua refused to be a mere decor (like a flower vase on a table) and he wanted also not to be part of a financial scandal. 2.2 The NaFFAA kept several bank accounts with the Wells Fargo Bank in Las Vegas and NaFFAA regional officer Rozita Lee was also issuing checks from it on her own signature alone (no countersignatory required in violation of the NaFFAA Bylaws). For the record, Lolo Bobby M. Reyes
