Dear Sir Lazir: Only God is perfect and unfortunately, the Bible is not perfect, as it was written by mortals based on revelations given to them and other prophets or their observations of the life of Christ, when he was walking in what is now Israel and Palestine. Then translations by different authors compounded the problem of accuracy. But . . . The Bible actually contains the best stories about mankind and the people's adventures and misadventures with their gods or God, false prophets, etc., etc. RE: Final Judgment. Even Christ said that "only the Father knows" when he was to come again and oversee the end of the world, raise all the dead and bring the worthy ones to Paradise. Nobody said that the "end is at hand or near," as you put it. But what my series on the "Aquinos and Cojuangcos and the Bible" wants to say is that Noynoy Cojuangco-Aquino is not the Filipino version of a redeemer that can lead his people to their version of the Promised Land. Noynoy has blood on his hands, as his Cojuangco Clan turned the Hacienda Luisita into a Killing Field. He has not done what the Bible has said in regard to the "firstborn male" and other precepts, etc., etc. Noynoy Aquino and many of his kin are not even Christians for they violate the teachings of Jesus Christ and other prophets. Thank you for your comments, Mabuhay, Lolo Bobby M. Reyes Editor www.mabuhayradio.com
