It's hard to believe the NBA finals are over in five games. Four straight wins for Miami after a first-game loss. This is particularly telling when you consider that the Oklahoma Thunder disposed of Dallas, LA, and San Antonio in succession to reach the summit.
While LeBron James deserves all the plaudits, including the MVP award, the coach ought not to be forgotten for this big win for the Miami Heat. He remained calm, confident, always coming with a few tricks up his sleeves to turn things on his side when it appeared the Heat were on the verge of losing, not once, but a number of times. That includes the series against Indiana when they fell behind by one game, and against the Celtics when, also behind by one game, they tied the series for a deciding 7th game which they won on the Heat's court.
It's no wonder Erik compares himself to Manny who has displayed the same courage, calm under pressure, and the ability to close out his bouts with the same skills that he did in steering the Miami Heat to another NBA championship.
