Just because Villar claims he came from the poor, it does not mean that he represents the poor. Take, for instance, how he grabbed land in Norzagaray, Bulacan, Imus, Cavite, from the poor, no less. The author's conclusion of the elections being a class war, with Villar as the poor's top dog is erroneous. If anything, it is a war between rich, landed people.
