WALANG PAGBABAGO na maaasahan ang sambayanang Pilipino kay Noynoy dahil sa 12 taon niya sa Kongreso at Senado wala naman pala siyang nagawa. Yung sinasabi niya ngayong kampanyahan PURO DRAWING LANG. There's no iota of proof that he can deliver. And if his performance as a lawmaker is any indication, then definitely, HE CANNOT DELIVER! He's not even responsible enough to raise his own family! Dick: Lapid a better bet than Noynoy Philippine Daily Inquirer, April 6, 2010 Sen. Lito Lapi for President? Why not,in the opinion of Bagumbayan presidential candidate Richard Gordon. Lapid, a reelectionist, is better qualified to run for president than Liberal Party standard-bearer Benigno Aquino III, according to Gordon. "Nine years in Congress, what bill did he (Aquino) pass? Three years in the Senate, what bill did he pass? Lito Lapid is much better for he was able to pass one bill," said Gordon in a talk with reporters during a campaign stop in Lucena City Monday. President Macapagal-Arroyo last month signed Republic Act No. 9999, the Free Legal Assistance Act of 2010. The law, authored by Lapid, aims to provide indigent litigants and defendants the opportunity to acquire the services of a lawyer for free. Gordon said that Aquino had no "records of accomplishments" to show to the Filipino people. He has said in his speeches on Aquino, who leads presidential surveys: "You want to run for president? You cannot buy the presidency. You cannot inherit the presidency. You have to earn it." ---------------------------------------- ALVIN T. TABAÑAG, RFP
