If you had fun with NaFAA, try looking into the Federation of Philippine American Chambers of Commerce. You would surely love this story. Back then, they claim they were incorporated in San Francisco, CA in 1996. In 1997, their status was suspended. They are still operating to this day and just registered last year in Oregon. So what happened in between 1997-2009? Were they representing who and what? Unity is good but if you unite people all for the wrong reasons (personal gain or business interests) then why do it? Check out who was president for so long. They kept most of its members info and never shared it with the rest of the national chamber's members. Isn't the point of uniting organizations is to network all the members? Well, that never happened. So what is a National Federation of Filipino businesses not networking the businesses themselves? Each member should have been provided with businesses in other states so businesses in CA can recommend a business in NJ. That never happened. Maybe it's just another group that they want to lead and can't let go. Anyway, hope you look into it.
