A bout one-quarter or 26.2% of Filipino
elderlies in the Greater Toronto Area have individual yearly incomes of
$12,000 or less, according to results of a joint study by the University
of Toronto and the Filipino Centre Toronto bared at a press conference
on Aug. 29. FCT president Linda Javier and Prof. Roland Sintos Coloma,
