To all AOL users.
We have been made aware that AOL users show up multiple times in the Who's Online module. This problem has to do with the way AOL uses proxy banks for their users.
Basically, AOL users can have multiple IP addresses when visiting any site. Since this site utilizes your IP address as part of the way it keeps track of your sessions, you may find yourself listed in the Who's Online Module as many times as you have unique IP addresses.
You may also find that your comments are posted several times.
To workaround the problem, minimize AOL, and launch Internet Explorer or Firefox. Do not use AOL's built-in browser while visiting this site.
Also, we have implemented some changes that could hopefully address the problem MOST OF THE TIME. The reason why we cannot address it ALL THE TIME is because of the way AOL's proxy bank works... Sorry...
Please note that this only affects Registered Users who want to login and/or post comments. Users browsing the site without logging in will be unaffected.
