Answers to a couple of questions:


1. Does it cost anything to Register? NO

2. Will I be spammed? NO.

Actually, mabuhayradio.com will send out a couple of emails to the address that you registered with.

The first one will be a Confirmation Email - This is a necessary step to confirm your identity as a real person (Not a bot trying to get an account so that they can spam the rest of the users).

Other messages may be sent, such as announcements, Private Messages, reminders, notifications, and newsletters. However, under no circumstances should you be receiving ANY solicitations to buy anything, and you may easily opt-out of receiving any messages. We do take your privacy seriously and have some serious measures in place to protect your identity including your email.

If you do find SPAM (i.e. solicitations to buy something) coming from mabuhayradio.com, please REPORT IT AT ONCE. We will take the steps necessary to rectify that situation.


4. What happens if I don't register? Nothing. You are under no obligation to register at this site and most of our articles and features are accessible to non-registered users.

It does, however,limit your experience with the site, namely, you cannot Post in the Shoutout, you can only post in certain "open" sections of the forum. You can not upload pictures or create new galleries, and you cannot post articles.

If you wish to do any of those things but also wish to remain unregistered, simply send in your request to photos@mabuhayradio.com.

5. What happens if I DO REGISTER? After confirming your email, a new menu shows up when you login. That menu allows you to post articles, blogs, pics, etc.

Registering also allows you to receive Private Messages. To further protect your email address, mabuhayradio.com uses Private Messaging. This allows you to send messages (and emails) to your friends without having to give away your real email address (You can do that on your own). Basically, all messages that you send are sent out with mabuhayradio.com in the middle. The receiving party will never get your actual email, but may choose to reply back to you also via mabuhayradio.com.
