This thread discusses the Content article: The NBN-ZTEgate Controversy: A Primer (from the Arroyo Dispensation)

To All,

Finally, GMA's admission that she was informed one day of the loopholes in the NBN contract and did not do anything to stop its mutual signing is tantamount to treason of the highest order. This second "lapse of judgment" will be the last nail to the coffin of her illegitimacy as an elected President. She does not deserved any single day to serve as an "illegitimate" President and every one is called upon to demand her resignation unconditionally.

We call upon all sectors of society to give their moral and physical support to this uprising protest against her continued exercise of illegitimate power. Our country is in the throes of moribund existence and only love of country can saved her from such predicament. We call on the guardians of faith, moral decency and individual liberty to join this movement and demand truth, accountability and high sense of patriotism not to a partisan party but to the people whom they vowed to serve and defend as the constitution has demanded. Let us join in prayers and thoughts on Feb. 29 as a Day of Moral Indignation Against Corruption and Illegitimacy of GMA government.

There are lots of issues in the Philippines arising today. The issue regarding the NBN-ZTEgate controversy seems unnoticed now by the people. Maybe the government is trying to diversify the attention of the people from the real issue. And it's bad because it's effective.
