Iglesia ni Cristo
The Iglesia ni Cristo (also known as INC or Iglesya ni Kristo ; literally Tagalog for Church of Christ) is an independent, nontrinitarian Christian church. The INC was incorporated in the Philippines by Felix Y. Manalo on July 27, 1914. The church professes to be the reestablishment of the original church founded by Jesus and claims that the original church was apostatized. It does not accept the doctrine of the Trinity, as well as the Divinity of Jesus.
Its leaders are often wooed by politicians who are aware of the church’s tendency to vote by block. |
