The Philippine Government Pays for the Killing of Fetuses and Abortion Is an Issue for 2010 Election
| The Philippine Government Pays for the Killing of Fetuses and Abortion Is an Issue for 2010 Election |
The Philippine Government is participating in the killing of the unborn, which this writer has described as the “The Monumental Modern-day Filipino Holocaust.” Abortion is the worst human-rights violation of all time, as the victims cannot even utter a cry of protest.
Our Cebu-based associate, Manny Amador, reports that “the new (2008) national budget includes a huge amount dedicated to population control -- which includes the procurement and distribution of abortifacient (sic) contraceptives. These particular contraceptives all have a secondary method which prevents the implantation of fertilized embryos. This is effectively an early chemical abortion.”
The MabuhayRadio has reported that there are more-than 400,000 killings of fetuses per annum being done in the Philippines and the educated guess does not include the so-called “chemical abortions.” To read the complete article, please go to The Monumental Modern-day Filipino Holocaust. And now the Philippine government is using taxpayers’ money to kill more fetuses, if not living embryos. A government is supposed to protect life, liberty and property. Now the Arroyo Dispensation is using scarce government resources to do chemical abortions.
What say you, Filipino taxpayers and Overseas-Filipino workers (OFWs). Would you permit tax pesos to promote the killing of the defenseless unborn?

Our faction in the OFW-led political party will force all the presidential candidates in the 2010 election to declare their position – for or against abortion. If you, Dear Readers, noticed, we classified this instant article under the “Philippine Politics” section of this web site. How is it so? Because this writer is one of the leaders who are trying to form an OFW-led political party that will field slates for national, congressional and local slates for the 2010 elections. We intend to bring the evils of abortion as a campaign issue for the presidency and all other positions. We will force all the presidential and other candidates to declare their position – for or against abortion. Those who will say that they are Pro-Life candidates will be asked to sign a written pledge that he/she/they – if elected as the President, Vice President, senators, congressmen, governors or local officials – will spearhead a movement to force the strict compliance of the constitutional ban on abortion, with no Ifs or Buts. And the presidential aspirants who are members of the Philippine Congress will have to explain why they voted for the national budget that carries the funding for the government-sponsored and funded chemical abortions. # # #

Since many Filipinos now are talking about the 2010 national and local elections, we think that we should start to discuss the inclusion of abortion as a major issue in the said exercise of suffrage. We can even force the issue of a constitutional ban on abortion. Besides, the presidential aspirants in the Philippine Senate and House of Representatives may be forced to withdraw their support for abortion and perhaps eliminate the funding in the national budget for chemical abortions. Think of the number of fetuses that we can save in 2008, 2009 and the first five months of 2010 if we can do away with the pro-abortion funding in the Philippine national budget.
Happy reading,

The Philippine Constitution already prohibits abortion. It's in Article II, Section 12:
Section 12. The State recognizes the sanctity of family life and shall protect and strengthen the family as a basic autonomous social institution. It shall equally protect the life of the mother and the life of the unborn from conception. The natural and primary right and duty of parents in the rearing of the youth for civic efficiency and the development
of moral character shall receive the support of the Government.
Unfortunately, people turn a blind eye to the thousands of murders committed through surgical abortion, hilots, and abortifacient contraceptives everyday, just as they turn a blind eye to graft and corruption.
The artificial contraceptives being marketed in the Philippines are abortifacient and should technically be banned as they go against the above provision in the Constitution. A bill banning such abortifacient contraceptives has already been filed in Congress, but it languishes as corrupt congressmen scramble for pork barrel and USAID funds. There is a strong and well-funded lobby that promotes such abortifacient contraceptives and it certainly would not like a ban on abortifacients.
I would suggest we focus on getting such a ban passed into law. And then focus on enforcing the laws against abortion. Of course, we should also *NOT* vote for any politician who favors abortion, the use of abortifacient contraceptives, or relaxing of restrictions against abortion.
God bless!

i saw your postings about abortion becoming a 2010 politcal issue. i cannot but agree.. i recently got the news below as sent by non-other than our very own abbot of the transfiguration abbot columbano adag. wasting no time, i bounced it to my principals in manila. we are coming out with print ads attacking the P2 billion budget of DOH for "birth control" (up from P180 million from last year), and will stage massive diocese-level lobby throughout the philippines. of course in defense of family and life.
(pero duda ko, this plus others in the trillions budget of GMA, will only be sucked for her 2010 war chest. these days medyo bagsak ang nakawan at extrajudicial killings sa gobierno ng conjugal plunderer, kaya angat na naman ang statistics sa pinas. simula after the passage of this budget, back second semester 2003 full throttle na naman ang nakawan at patayan.)
anyways, i will furnish you with a copy of the ad when it comes out.
