Colonel Quesada wrote also a column in the California Examiner community newspaper of Los Angeles. Some of his articles were published also in the www.newsflash.org and readers may go to its “Travel & Leisure” section, where Colonel Quesada's BALITANG BETERNO can be viewed.

Readers may access Colonel Quesada’s columns and articles in this online publication by clicking on this link http://www.mabuhayradio.com/Columns/Quesada.html

Colonel Quesada was a former United States Senate Committee Secretary for Veterans and Military Pensions. He was also an Associate, Philippine Military Academy, 1944 Class. He was a World War-II prisoner of war (POW) and for many years and up to his death, the Veterans Federation (VFP) Liaison Representative to the USA. He was the foremost and most-vocal advocate of the Filipino Veterans’ lobby and contributed many comments in the articles that were posted in this section, http://www.mabuhayradio.com/Sections/Fil-Vets.html

The death of Colonel Quesada will not mean the end of his column. Prior to his death, he submitted several manuscripts that he wanted our editorial staff to edit and eventually publish into a book. We will certainly honor Colonel Quesada’s wishes. We will do our best to publish in his column, which he simply wanted to be called by his name, all his past articles – as edited and updated. We will request also the California Examiner publisher, Oscar Jornacion, to allow us to reprint the earlier works of Colonel Quesada that his newspaper published.

We will update the readers and the friends of Colonel Quesada of the details of any and all memorial and funeral arrangements, as they become available.

We request readers to join us in praying for the eternal repose of Colonel Quesada's soul. May his spirit of dedication and public service continue to influence the Filipino Veterans' lobby in the United States. We all extend our condolences to the Quesada Family.  # # #

On or about the 10th of January 2008, I called Col. Kitz (Quesada) since I haven’t received any e-mail from him for quite sometimes. Lou (his wife) indicated that he’s been hospitalized since December. On the January 30th, I called again to wish him a belated “Happy Birthday,” and left message. As new member of The 'Cavalier' Cyber Prayer Warriors or CPWs. http://www.ccpw.net/, yesterday, 1st February, I received a special prayers request on Cav Frank Quesada for healing and his wife Lou – prayer for strength. Today, February 2, I received an e-mail from Col Romy Monteyro: “Staunch voice of Fil-Vets silenced.” Col Quesada passed away – 1st February.

Please join me for prayers and remembrance of his accomplishment.

This is a very sad and shocking news.
Col. Quesada has been a stalwart in the fight for Filipino Veterans' Equity. I am so sorry that he did not live long enough to see his dreams come through.
My deepest condolences to his family... He will be greatly missed...

With deep, heartfelt anguish, I am sharing with you a telephone call from one of our cavaliers in Las Vegas the sad news that our elderly brother cavalier Frank has left us for the Great Beyond.

The news concerning the death of Colonel Frank B. Quesada brought so much sorrow. I feel so sad in the passing away of a true warrior and a true gentleman. He had been a father figure to me and a very close friend. I will forever be grateful for the visions he shared in the countless personal correspondence he gladly sent me. The personal guidance and invaluable assistance he provided me in the public campaign for the Veterans Equity, as well as in my personal affairs are deeply appreciated.

My wife and I are deeply saddened. Condolence to the Quesada Family, our prayers are with you.
