Colonel Quesada wrote also a column in the California Examiner community newspaper of Los Angeles. Some of his articles were published also in the www.newsflash.org and readers may go to its “Travel & Leisure” section, where Colonel Quesada's BALITANG BETERNO can be viewed.

Colonel Quesada was a former United States Senate Committee Secretary for Veterans and Military Pensions. He was also an Associate, Philippine Military Academy, 1944 Class. He was a World War-II prisoner of war (POW) and for many years and up to his death, the Veterans Federation (VFP) Liaison Representative to the USA. He was the foremost and most-vocal advocate of the Filipino Veterans’ lobby and contributed many comments in the articles that were posted in this section, http://www.mabuhayradio.com/Sections/Fil-Vets.html
The death of Colonel Quesada will not mean the end of his column. Prior to his death, he submitted several manuscripts that he wanted our editorial staff to edit and eventually publish into a book. We will certainly honor Colonel Quesada’s wishes. We will do our best to publish in his column, which he simply wanted to be called by his name, all his past articles – as edited and updated. We will request also the California Examiner publisher, Oscar Jornacion, to allow us to reprint the earlier works of Colonel Quesada that his newspaper published.
We will update the readers and the friends of Colonel Quesada of the details of any and all memorial and funeral arrangements, as they become available.
We request readers to join us in praying for the eternal repose of Colonel Quesada's soul. May his spirit of dedication and public service continue to influence the Filipino Veterans' lobby in the United States. We all extend our condolences to the Quesada Family. # # #
