The MabuhayRadio.com was probably the only Overseas-Filipino website that remembered in 2007 the air disaster that claimed the lives of Filipino boy scouts and scout masters in July 1963 and the now-infamous killing spree in July 1966 done by Richard Speck that involved two Filipino nurses. To our limited knowledge, this website was one of the first to announce the untimely death of Tonette (Ka Tonyang) Binsol in Tokyo, Japan, on July 10, 2007. The articles about these deaths continue to remain published in the MabuhayRadio.com. Their sad stories will not be deleted for as long as this website remains operational and that could be like forever.

Here are links to the said sad stories . . .

July 14th Marks the 41st Year of a Filipino Nurse’s Miraculous Escape from a Serial Killer

On behalf of the MabuhayRadio.com staff, columnists, writers and contributors, we offer our prayers for the eternal repose of the souls of these great Filipinos, the nurses and overseas workers being some of the modern-day heroes of the Philippines. May their souls rest in eternal peace. # # #
