Last Monday, Aug. 11, 2008, Manny Legaspi, the publisher of the www.mygringos.com, called this website to verify if the Roberto “Bobby” Reyes, who died that day, was this writer. Fortunately, this writer was the one who answered the phone and Mr. Legaspi said that was the “best voice” he has heard from me.
This website was able to find out some of the details of Mr. Reyes’s death, wake, memorial service and funeral when it received the following (forwarded) e-mail from one of our readers:

UNQUOTE.
The coincidence is remarkable: Both iof us shared the same name “Roberto (Bobby) Reyes,” lived in the same County of Los Angeles and are graduates of the Cursillo. But this writer took up the Cursillo class in Santo Tomas, Batangas, in 1970 and he belongs to the Decuria of St. Paul.
May my tocayo have eternal peace. Amen.
Big Ed
