P hilippine diplomatic officials in Spain's capital of Madrid should probably do more than just being content in seeing a replica of Jose Rizal's monument standing in one of its main thoroughfares. Rizal may be known to Filipinos but to some Madrileños and Filipinos in Madrid, he is a virtual unknown. That we found out in our man-in-the-street interviews.
