K alikasan, Kaunlaran! (KK!) aired an episode on “Convenient Measures for ‘An Inconvenient Truth’” on May 16, 2007. KK! is revisiting it a day after the talk in Manila of former  US Vice President  and 2007 Nobel Peace Prize Awardee Al Gore on the Updated Asian Version of An Inconvenient Truth.

 

Hear the Philippine version of the topic in KK! on June 9, 2010, Wednesday, at 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (Manila time) at DZRH-AM radio (666 in Metro Manila, other kHz nationwide), various TV stations (Ch. 9 in Metro Manila, other cable TV channels nationwide), and Internet http://dzrh.prepys.com or http://dzrh.tripod.com.

This is the contribution of EARTH Institute Asia, Inc. and Flor’s Garden to the celebration of the Environment Month in June. It aims to help local communities improve their disaster preparedness with an integrated strategy, strengthen their capabilities to produce and process organically grown food in a cost-effective and environmentally sound manner for both emergency and normal times, and enhance active collaboration of public and private groups on emergency preparedness. Venue: The EARTH School, Flor’s Garden, Marcos Highway, Antipolo City. The seminar includes technology demonstration, product exhibits, healthy gourmet food, garden tour, and gifts to participants.
