T he "Eco-Products for a Sustainable Future" is the Kalikasan, Kaunlaran! (KK!) Topic on Feb. 18, 2009, Wednesday, 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., (Manila time) at DZRH-AM radio (666 in Metro Manila, other kHz nationwide), TV (Channel-9 in Metro Manila, other cable TV channels nationwide), and on the Internet (http://dzrh.tripod.com or http://dzrh.prepys.com).

 

Manila will host the Eco-Products International Fair (EPIF) 2009 on March 19-22, 2009, in the SMX Convention Center, with the Asian Productivity Organization in Japan, the Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP) and the Philippine Business for the Environment as co-organizers. Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation Chair Teisuke Kitayama (Chair, EPIF Preparatory Committee) and former First Lady Mrs. Amelita "Ming" M. Ramos (Chair, EPIF Advisory Committee) are inviting you and the general public to this important event that aims to "accelerate efforts toward a sustainable society."

 

The EPIF will "feature everything related to the environment—from the latest environmental technologies to manufactured goods, equipment, systems and services." In addition to eco-products, the EPIF will also showcase environmental initiatives, eco-services, and environmental businesses. It will affirm that "good environment is good business."

 

EARTH Institute Asia, Inc. will be one of the many exhibitors from various countries. It will present eco-products for the wellness of the three Ps of sustainability—Person, People, and Planet –toward the 4th P—profit or economic development. EARTH will also launch its latest program—the EARTH4KNW for Sustainability. You may sign up to join this and the other programs of EARTH. You may also contact EARTH if you have good eco-products, local or imported, for presentation at the EPIF.
