Kalikasan, Kaunlaran! Receives KBP’s Golden Dove Award and Now Better Format Airs on DZRH-AM Wednesdays @ 6:30 p.m. (Manila Time)

After one year of airing, Kalikasan, Kaunlaran! (KK!) received its first recognition at the Golden Dove Awards of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP ) held on Nov. 16, 2007. It was judged as one of the three Best Science and Technology radio programs in the Philippines. Inspired by this recognition and aiming to do even better in the future, KK! will feature on Wed.,  Nov. 21, 2007 (6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m., Manila time, on DZRH-AM radio) how even ordinary people can produce extraordinary results.

You are invited to hear and join the talakayan with outstanding business leaders Ms. Elena Lim, honorary chair of the Solid Group, Sony Philippines and other companies and Engr. Filemon T, Berba, Jr. former president/CEO, Globe Telecom, Manila Water, and other companies and currently president emeritus, Philippine Quality Award Foundation and trustee/ vice president, Phil Fdn. for SandT. They will discuss the process of empowerment that can prepare even ordinary people for effective leadership—the type needed for environmental protection and sustainable development. Directing/hosting the program is Dr. Cora Claudio, president, EARTH Institute Asia, Inc.

The contests offer cash prizes and the projects provide livelihood while protecting and enhancing the environment.
