T he That’s good news—not only for the agriculture sector but also for all who want to eat healthy food. It is a reason to celebrate. Hence, the Agri-Aqua Network International & the One Organic Movement of the Philippines, with the support of the Department of Agriculture, are inviting all to celebrate this good news at the 3RD PINOY ORGANIC FESTIVAL, which will be held on May 28-30, 2010, at the AANI Herbal Garden & Livelihood Center, Quezon Memorial Circle, Quezon City. This annual event will be a special one this year—with discussions on how the new law could be implemented with real benefits, especially to farmers. E ARTH Institute Guests are: Engr. Pol Rubia, vice president for Operations, Agri Aqua Network International, Inc.; Dr. Isagani Cathedral, chairman, Kasama Ka Organik Cooperative, and Jay Corpuz, convenor, One Organic Philippines and secretary, Organic Producers and Trade Association. Moderator: Dr. Cora Claudio, president, EARTH Institute EARTH Institute Asia, with its EARTH Network for Sustainable Living, will also join the Organic Festival with a booth showcasing some of the organic products of its members and some technologies (e.g., solar dryer-oven) for producing/processing organic products.
