Ms. Alicia Jimenez will explain the "Earth Charter." She is with the global Earth Charter Center for Education and Sustainable Development of Costa Rica. It is a universal Code of Conduct for building a just, sustainable and peaceful society. She will talk about how it is being implemented globally. Joining her in the talakayan are Dr. Donna Paz Reyes (Exec. Dir., Environmental Studies Inst., Miriam College) and Ms. Elen Basug, Chief, Environmental Educ. and Info. Div., EMB, DENR), who will discuss how educational institutions and others may use the Earth Charter during this UN Decade of Education and Sustainable Development and beyond.

The talakayan will be aired live by Kalikasan, Kaunlaran! (KK!) on Wed., Nov. 14, 2007, 6:30-7:30 PM, DZRH-AM radio, with host Dr. Cora Claudio, president, EARTH Institute Asia, Inc. Ms. Ella Antonio, EARTH Institute Asia trustee and Asia-Pacific Earth Council president, who organized this episode, will also join the group.
