T he 5th Junior Chamber International (JCI) Best Business Plan of the World Competition, a flagship project of Jaycees all over the world, is now going on with the theme “Green Works, Green Minds.”

JCI Manila recently chose the winners for the Philippines--the “best green ideas” among those of the contestants, who are all promising young entrepreneurs. Could they also win at the world competition that will be held at the JCI World Conference in Tunisia during the fourth quarter of 2009? Could they maintain the Philippines’ position as the world winner in the past four competitions? Will you invest in their green ideas?

Assess the JCI Manila winners’ potential to achieve business success, make positive contribution to sustainable development, and win the top award at the JCI’s world competition. Hear or watch them at Kalikasan, Kaunlaran! (KK!) on August 12, 2009, Wednesday, 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (Manila time), at DZRH-AM radio (666 in Metro Manila, other kHz nationwide), TV (Ch. 9 in Metro Manila, other cable TV channels nationwide), and Internet (http://dzrh.tripod.com or http://dzrh.prepys.com).

G uests are members of the winning teams from FiberTech, Inc. (led by Evan Bernhard Yap), EPP Technologies, Inc. (led by Faye Raborar) and Jacinto Y Lirio (led by Noreen Marian Bautista ). Johnny Fetalvero, JCI senator and project chair, Best Business Plan (BBP) 2009 Competition, Philippines, will also join the panel of guests in the talakayan in conversational Pilipino and English. Dr. Cora Claudio, president, EARTH Institute Asia and chair, Board of Judges, BBP 2009, will moderate the discussion.
