It is our moral and spiritual duty to reciprocate Christ’s redemptive death and resurrection with being good steward’s of God’s creation – Sec. Lito Atienza, Department of Environment and Natural Resources

God created planet earth for us to live in and enjoy. It is our home. It is essential for our survival. Our health and lives depend on it. But how have we treated it? We have destroyed and ravaged much of the earth so much so that nature revolts with her fury every now and then, and we get sick from the toxins that also come from us.  The result: A sick earth, many sick people.

Where and how shall we start to heal the earth and ourselves? Best-selling author and self-development motivator Dr. Wayne Dyer writes that "all of our behavior results from the thoughts that preceded it...so the thing to work on is not your behavior but the thing that caused your behavior, your thoughts." We can, thus, use the power of the mind to correct our behavior and heal the earth, as well as ourselves. How may we do so?

Quote of the Day

"I had a linguistics professor who said that it's man's ability to use language that makes him the dominant species on the planet. That may be. But I think there's one other thing that separates us from animals -- we aren't afraid of vacuum cleaners."--Jeff Stilson
