"Weeds and Grass for Whealth (sic)” Is KK! Talk-show topic on DZRH-AM on March 26, Wednesday,  from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (Manila Time)

One of the seven miracles performed by Jesus, as recorded in the Gospel of John, was the feeding of thousands with just five barley loaves and two small fishes. When the people were full, Jesus instructed the disciples to "Gather up the fragments that remain, that nothing be lost."

This miracle inspires us to say that, with sharing and fellowship, we can attain wealth and health (which some refer to now as "whealth") even from meager resources. And gathering our waste, instead of throwing it away, is what Jesus wants us to do.

This Miracle must have inspired two environment-caring sisters (Philippine National Bank Chair Flor Gozon-Tarriela and Carolina Bamboo Garden Founder Kay Gozon-Jimenez) to grow and use "lowly" weeds and grass for food and housing materials. Hear how they are doing so in Kalikasan, Kaunlaran! (KK!),  DZRH-AM radio, on March  26, Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Hosting the talakayan in conversational Tagalog is Dr. Cora Claudio, president, EARTH Institute Asia.
