Filipino animator and director Leslie Supnet, originally from Winnipeg, takes part in the Toronto International Film Festival currently underway with her comic fantasy titled "A Time Is a Terrible Thing to Waste", which is actually a collaboration with Winnipeg storyteller Glen Johnson.

At a reception for Asian film producers and directors on Monday, Sept. 9 at Dazzling Restaurant and Bar across TIFF Lightbox on King St., Leslie agrees to talk briefly about the animation.

Here's a health to the company, and one to my lass.Let's drink and be merry all out of one glass.Let's drink and be merry all grief to refrain,For we may and might never all meet here again.~(trad.)
