Filipino animator and director Leslie
Supnet, originally from Winnipeg, takes part in the Toronto
International Film Festival currently underway with her comic fantasy
titled "A Time Is a Terrible Thing to Waste", which is actually a
collaboration with Winnipeg storyteller Glen Johnson.
At a reception for Asian film
producers and directors on Monday, Sept. 9 at Dazzling Restaurant and
Bar across TIFF Lightbox on King St., Leslie agrees to talk briefly
about the animation.
