The Arts Corps of Los Angeles (ACLA) presents the Sixth Annual KERMÉS FESTIVAL on Aug. 16, 2008, at the Spiraling Orchard, 1246 W. Court Street, Los Angeles, CA  90026. The event runs from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

The Kermés is an annual summer festival in the Temple-Beaudry community. Similar to a street carnival, Kermés brings about a way to establish an ongoing relationship with all parts of the community. The festival celebrates the culture of the community while engaging and informing residents in a day of celebratory festivities.

The event is free (gratis et amore) and is open to the public.
