The families and town mates of the founder of the San Roque Church in Sampaloc, Manila, Philippines, will celebrate the 7th year of San Roque Town fiesta in America in San Fernando Valley on Friday, August 15, 2008.

This was announced by the families of the founder Don Pedro Cabal-Socorro and Dona Francisca Jacinto-Socorro through their daughters Penafrancia Socorro-Salas and Eladia S. Espiritu. The families and friends as well as the town mates of the founders celebrate their fiesta in America for seven years now.

It was formerly owned by the Socorro family and was turned over to the Roman Catholic Church of the Philippines in 1967.

The town fiesta will be held at San Fernando Adult Day Care Center on 10351 Balboa Bend, Granada Hills, CA 91344 on Friday, August 15, 2008. For any inquiries please call Penafrancia Salas on (818) 349 -0393 0r Lydia Espiritu at (213) 353-9255 or at San Fernando Valley at (818) 831-6651.
