T he Filipino-American National Historical Society (FANHS) continues to insist that October is the “Filipino Heritage Month” in the United States despite the absence of even logic in its pronouncements. This website has already written about what it calls the “OctoberFake” in this article, The Filipino Heritage Month Is a Big Hoax. It's "OctoberFake."
In support of its contention that the FANHS does not know what it is doing, the MabuhayRadio.com reprinted the articles of Los Angeles-based venerable historian, Hector Santos, the hyperlinks of which are:
The First Philippine Indios in California by Hector Santos
Did Philippine indios really land in Morro Bay? by Hector Santos
There are more articles in the MabuhayRadio.com that present arguments about the historical hoaxes that the FANHS has been feeding some gullible members of the Filipino-American community and the Filipino world in general. Here are the hyperlinks to the said articles:
How Joseph Lariosa Found Another Fabrication in Marina Espina’s Book, “Filipinos in Louisiana”
FANHS Refuses to Prove Its Historical Claims Are Not Hoaxes
Destroying More FANHS Myths About the Manila-Acapulco Galleon Trade
How the Hoax About a “Filipino” Cofounder of L.A. Started. And Cofounder (sic) Wasn't Even Filipino?
Dr. Owen Comments on "Filipino Trivia" or "Filipino Pride" Historical Hoaxes
Here LIES the Summary of Filipino History in America?
It is time for Filipino Americans, the Overseas Filipinos and the Filipino people to ostracize the FANHS and dump its founders and officers to the community’s scrap heap. # # #
