F orty-seven years ago on Feb 15, 1965, the present maple-leaf flag was unfurled in Ottawa to become Canada's national flag. Prime Minister Stephen Harper is scheduled to mark the occasion – National Flag of Canada Day – with ceremonies in the capital at noon Eastern today.
