By Goliath Letterman (No Relations to David Letterman) P orfirio “Perrytale” Diaz is one of the NaFFAA corrupt-clique’s mouthpieces. He has been lately posting new online attacks against the investigative-reporting duo of Romy Marquez and Bobby Reyes. He has also been recycling his old smear-campaign materials. Mr. Porfirio now calls himself “TabacNiDamocles,” which he obviously copied from “Sword of Damocles.” The Filipino word for bolo is “tabak"; and "espada" is for the sword. The NaFFAA is the acronym of the National Federation of Filipino-American Associations. Alas, the officers of the Los Angeles-based “Philippine-American Society of Pundits, Humorists and Wags (PASPHAW)” immediately made fun of Mr. Porfirio’s new moniker. The PASPHAW members now call him “Tabacini-Lamokles.” The Filipino colloquial word for a fat person is “tabacini” (pronounced “tah-bah-chi-nee”). “Lamok” is the Filipino word for “mosquito.” Yes, Mr. Diaz can be compared to a fat mosquito, which is a mere pest. A mosquito does not sting like a bee. H ere is the latest e-forum posting of Porfirio “Tabacini-Lamokles” Diaz: QUOTE. From: TABAKniDAMOCLES@aol.com (TABAKniDAMOCLES@aol.com) Date: Hello Romy and Bobby, You may not even realize that at your very advanced age (almost 70), you are now on sunset boulevard. But look at this YouTube video posted by Romy Marquez and judge for yourselves if Mr. Diaz looks younger or older than Lolo Bobby. The photo of Mr. “Tabacini-Lamokles” that Romy Marquez used in the YouTube video was also taken during the taping of the said “Miting de Avance” where Mr. Diaz was a member of the audience:

Poet-pundit Fred Burce Bunao (Now Deceased) It was Poet-pundit Fred Burce Bunao who founded the PASPHAW. It was also Mr. Bunao who dubbed in 2001 the pen of Bobby Reyes as the “Sword of Damocreyes” (sic) that he said “hangs over the heads of the corrupt founders of the NaFFAA.” After all, it has been said that “the pen is mightier than the sword.” Perhaps Fred Burce Bunao is now laughing hard and loud in the Blue Yonder. He should be proud that the PASPHAW members continued on with his brand of wit and humor. Imagine the members coming up fast with “TabaciniLamokles” as the new moniker of Porfirio Diaz. He should be proud that his literary students are stepping into his big shoes as a pundit and humorist. # # #

Please consider supporting the "ReVOTElution of Hope" for Sorsogon as the Pilot Province. Please see "ReVOTElution" Banner on this page for details.
In fairness to Mr. Romy Marquez and Mr. Bobby Reyes, whoever you are, don't hide under a pseudonym. You have to understand that Messrs. Marquez and Reyes have been the recipients of the most vicious and unprintable words in the English lexicon. They have the right to retaliate or defend themselves.
Don't make it sound as if it were a one-sided battle and that they were the aggressors.

Hello Romy and Bobby,
You may not even realize that at your very advanced age (almost 70), you are now on sunset boulevard. It's about time to mellow!
You are slowly approaching your very finite destination -- Death!
Once you’re there, can you really answer “Yes” to the Maker when He asks you: “Did you love your enemies as you did love yourself?”
Ang Nagwawagayway,

Matalim man na gulok, kutsilyo at itak
Walang panalo sa kumikinang na tabak.

Could the moderator tell me if these people are clowning or what? Is this and previous kind of exchange between these two allowed here? Shouldn't this kind of exchange be directed only to their private emails? What do the silent majority think? Is irreverence the fad of the day now?
Blanca
Tabak is of course a clown. Having no personality, Tabak hides in Damocles. Not unexpectedly, Bobby and I got some support from Gulok ni Bonifacio, which, by the name alone, implies being a Filipino. Tabak is probably one of those belonging to the neuter gender, too afraid to be known and too neutered to speak. It couldn't even make up the spelling of tabak/tabac.
By the way, the email by Tabak/Tabac seems to have been generated by this top video hit at:

Thanks and best regards,

It must be very cold in Canada, ha? Sabi da parang Siberia. I've always been wondering why Romy chose Canada as his deportation destination (like tourist deportation). Had he chosen to be deported to the Philippines, it would have been free by CON-AIR. But my source in Canada said that Romy is having fun taking video of nude protesters and chasing Pinay caregivers. Baka pati sa Canada ma dedeport etong lover boy. Ay naku. Ang buhay nga naman ng isang deportee ay very lonely. Romy should hang out in karoake bars and sing Elvis' "I'm Lonesome Tonight" at baka mapansin siya ng mga magagandang caregivers doon.

Heh heh heh
Blanca, have you lost your sense of humor? These guys, who are in their 70s like us, are just acting their age, don't you think?
But of course, when pushing turns to shoving, or if bad turns to worse which is unlikely between two friends, either Diddo or Art Tolentino will separate these two journalists and place them in the cooler. But until such time as when it is mere spaghetti that they sling to each other, we should have tolerance like our Guidance Counselor up above.
Cheers!

Hi Blue Star,
I believe you're referring to yourself and Manong Fairy, who I think is 75++. I'm far from being 70 and enjoying it. I'm not fat, I don't have a beer belly, I have a full salt & pepper hair, I'm lean and muscular at six feet.
I think Manong Fairy is the opposite; from his looks, he's probably 4 ft.11 1/2 inches tall, that's 4'11.5. He's got an enormous belly and a permanent hat on his head. Old people like him would not be able to stand the cold. In Toronto now, it's cold (- 4C) and the temperature could go even lower. Man, how I love it!
Manong Fairy who obviously doesn't possess a legal mind, or at its very basic an analytical mind, insists that I was deported. I already explained. When a person is deported, it is always to his home country. Had I been deported, it would be to the Philippines. (I would explain this concept in another email).
And if I had to choose being close to San Diego, I would have gone to Mexico, which is 30 minutes away from where I lived, and practise my Spanish and be in the company of beautiful senoritas (and I don't mean the kind that Manong Fairy sometimes transforms into, okay ba? ).
Thanks and best regards,
Romy Marquez

Salamat. At ikaw Damocles, tumigil ka na sa pambubusca. Magaling at maginoo si Don Azarias, saludo ako.
