T he Filipino Cursillos in Christianity is holding a fund-raising variety show entitled "SULYAP MULI" on October 25, 2008, Saturday, at the Haugh Performing Arts Center at Citrus College. The venue is located at 1,000 Foothill Boulevard, Glendora, California. The show starts at 7:00 p.m.

It is about the History of Filipino race through music, dance and songs to be performed mostly by Cursillistas. The proceeds of the sale will go towards the renovation of the Archdiocesan Cursillo House in Pomona, CA.

Los Angeles Cursillo House Dedication on November 20

 

On Saturday, November 22, 2008, starting at 10:00 a.m., a formal Dedication and Blessing of the Pomona Cursillo House at 1233 E. Kingsley Avenue in Pomona, CA, will be conducted by Cardinal Roger Mahony after a Eucharistic Celebration.

Lunch will be served for a reasonable donation. You may contact Edwin Hwang, over-all chairperson at 818-893-1117 (home) or 818-326-1900 (cell) for more information.

 

The Archdiocesan Cursillo House in Pomona will be shared by seven (7) Cursillo language groups under the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. The facility will be made available also to other organizations for retreats and other functions. # # #
