The NaFFAA NEOs Have Been Reported Already to the IRS for Tax Evasion and Possible Violations of the RICO Act

By Lolo Bobby M. Reyes

O nce again Eric Lachica, whom this writer has dubbed the “Peddler on the Roof” and his associates, Atty. Loida Nicolas Lewis, Atty. Rodel Rodis and their fellow former national executive officers (NEOs) of the NaFFAA will be in Los Angeles on an apparent “scamming mission” again. The NaFFAA is the acronym for the National Federation of Filipino-American Associations. Lachica, et al, will be at the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles, California. The visiting NaFFAA NEOs and Mr. Lachica are to conduct what they call a “Global Summit Town Hall Meeting on Thursday, June 30, 2011, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the said Philippine diplomatic post.

This writer was able to warn Consul General Mary Jo Bernardo-Aragon of the rackets that Mr. Lachica and his NaFFAA allies have been peddling to the Filipino-American community, especially the military veterans. They like to display and work their rackets even if they don’t play tennis.

Lately Mr. Lachica and his allies have selling what they call “membership” in a Filipino-American “Medicare Portability system.” Each membership card costs $100 and by some accounts at least 1,000 Filipino-American veterans and senior citizens have been reportedly victimized. This investigative reporter warned Consul General Aragon during her regular monthly press conference held last June 15 that Mr. Lachica, et al, like to hold their “selling sessions” in Philippine diplomatic offices, so as to avail of an “aura of legitimacy.” Ms. Aragon said that she would issue a directive that would remind people that it is illegal to sell anything in the consulate general’s premises.

T his editor has been daring the NaFFAA NEOs and Mr. Lachica to sue him for libel, as he has called them “crooks” in these articles that continue to remain published in this website:

Global Summits’ and NaFFAA Conventions’ Voodoo Accounting

E rnie Gange, a NaFFAA cofounder and former chair of the NaFFAA state chapter in Pennsylvania, has accused the former NaFFAA NEOs of doing “Voodoo Accounting.” Mr. Gange’s charges could be read in this report:

Lolo Bobby Finally Mails Dossier to the IRS on the Income-tax and RICO-Act Violations of the NaFFAA’s “ELM Criminal Clique”

Immediate NaFFAA past Chairman Greg “Lagareng Hapon” Macabenta went after Mr. Gange at the recent NaFFAA conference in Las Vegas, Nevada. And Mr. Macabenta was not even drunk during his outrage directed at Mr. Gange, a much-respective Filipino-American septuagenarian and first Filipino member of the Board of Trustees of the Pearl S. Buck Foundation. Readers may like to read the details of the sad incident in this report: “Lagareng Hapon” Macabenta Does a Kamikaze at Today’s NaFFAA’s Conference at Bally’s in Las Vegas

So, this Thursday night at the Philippine Consulate General, will some brave Filipino-American souls ask Lachica, et al, why they are not refuting at all this reporter’s allegations and charges against them? If this journalist has written lies, why have they not sued him for libel? Unless Lachica’s and his allies like to paraphrase this rhetorical question: “To be or not to be a crook is the question.” # # #
