A fter leading a most-fulfilling life as a mother and grandmother, 94-year-old Hilaria Figueroa Soriano or Nana Laring or simply Nana, passed away quietly on May 5, 2013 in Toronto, Ontario Province, Canada. 

She was the mother of popular journalist Tenny Soriano and four other children, namely, Gustavo (Gus), Edgardo (Ed), Joselito (Ike) and Jocelyn (Shoda). She was a former elementary schoolteacher in her hometown of Amaya, Tanza, Cavite.
