Pooled Editorial We, the Filipinos in the United States and overseas domiciles, condemn in the strongest term the contemptible attack on the office of Gov. Eddie Panlilio of Pampanga. The attack obviously happened because Governor Panlilio belongs to the political opposition and he is waging a war for good governance. The wanton act of savagery and blatant disregard for law and order by the perpetrators, the ineptitude of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (Provincial Board), the gross dereliction of duty and incompetence of Col. Keith Singian, Colonel Medina, the San Fernando’s Chief of Police and their men, are politically-motivated refusal and failure to protect the Office of the Governor. The lack of appropriate and prompt response from the national government to protect the seat of government in Pampanga is but the symptomatic reflection of a brutally-corrupt and callous Arroyo Administration.
