Hi, JJ: Congratulations for being on target -- current and prophetic -- on your column this time. But let me also congratulate Mr. Obama for being very public or overt with his support to the Egyptian people, unlike President Reagan, who took a covert stance via what you said the 'CIA.' Mr. Reagan at that time feared that alienating Marcos could lead to the removal of the U.S. Military bases that turned out to be a miscalculation also because with or without Marcos the U.S. bases would have to irreversibly had to go. As to your take that President Noynoy is retard? That remains to be seen. If he is unable to root out the systemic corruption in the Philippine government, then I will agree with you that P-Noy is not only a "retard" but just another “bugok,” an unhatched egg. Cheers!
