Member, Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE), Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA) and National Ethnic Press and Media Council of Canada (NEPMCC)


A contingent of Filipino queers and transgenders formed the vanguard of Sunday's gay-pride parade in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Waving a Philippine flag and dressed in traditional "terno", they backstopped Angie Umbac, legal-rights activist, who is this year's International Grand Marshal.
