A ll you book lovers are invited to a mass launch of Bikol books on Friday and Saturday, 12 & 13 March 2010, in the Museum of Legazpi (at the back of the city hall of the City of Legazpi , Plaza Peñaranda (Old Albay). This year, it’s a two-day affair to commemorate also the Year of the Tiger.

 

To be sold at discounted prices are books 1) in Bikol, 2) about Bikol, and/or 3) by Bikol authors, the likes of Ma. Lilia F. Realubit, Zeus A. Salazar, Elmer A. Ordonez, Kerima Polotan, Celedonio G. Aguilar, Luis Cabalquinto, Bienvenido N. Santos, Luis C. Dery, Socorro Federis Tate, Marne L. Meet and get to know the authors. No ceremonies whatsoever and absolutely no speeches; it will be selling/buying right away. Instead, there will be roses, beer, baduya. Poetry will be read. And songs in Bikol, their very own, will be sung by ABKAT and by Arnold Logoc.   Drop in between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Makipagmidbid sa mga kagsurat. Warang ano-pa-man na pasaragin-sagin, barakalan tulos.  Sa lugod, may mga burak, arak, baduya.   Babasahon mga rawit-dawit.  At mga awit sa Bikol, himong sadiri, aawiton kan ABKAT saka ni Arnold Logoc.  Maghapit tabi: syam (9) nin aga antos anom (6) sa banggi. # # #
