L os Angeles, California – The Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles, in cooperation with the Philippine Institute International (PHII) and the Philippine Expressions Bookshop, will hold a Bonifacio Day Celebration to commemorate the 149th Birth Anniversary of Andres Bonifacio. The event will also hold a book launching of “Faith and Struggle on Smokey Mountain: Hope for a Planet in Peril” written by Fr. Benigno P. Beltran, SVD. The Philippine Expressions Bookshop sponsors the book launching.

 

The events will be held on Monday, 26 November 2012, at 6:00 p.m. at the Rizal Hall of the Philippine Consulate General, 3600 Wilshire Blvd., 5th Floor, Los Angeles, CA 90010. # # #
